Common questions
How do I sign in?
Type the email your invite came to. We email you a link that signs you in. There is no password. If the email does not arrive in a few minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us.
Does it work on Android?
Not yet. Coachtor is iPhone only for now.
I'm a client. How do I join my coach?
Every client joins through a coach. Ask your coach or gym to send you an invite, then sign in with the email it came to.
Does the AI message my clients for me?
No. Coachtor drafts replies and write-ups, and you read every one first. Nothing goes to a client until you tap send.
What happens to consult recordings?
The audio is deleted automatically 30 days after the consult. The written-up client record stays. Clients can say no to being recorded.
Can I log a workout without signal?
Yes. Logging works offline, and your sets save to the server when you are back online.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Clients can export their full history from inside the app, as a PDF and as a data file. It is made on your phone and handed to you through the share sheet.
What does it cost?
For coaches: free for 60 days, then $79 a month. Clients do not pay Coachtor.
Delete your account
You can delete your account from inside the app, on your phone or on the web:
- Clients: open the Coach tab. Coaches: open Today. Gym owners: open Gym.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Read what goes and what stays. If you want a copy of your history, tap Take a copy first.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete my account for good.
This deletes your profile and sign-in, your workouts, messages, photos, videos, voice notes, consult recordings, health screen and other form answers, straight away. Once deleted, it cannot be brought back.
A few things are asked of you first, so nobody is left without a coach:
- A coach with clients hands each one to another coach, or archives them. Archived clients are let go when you delete, and keep everything they logged.
- A gym owner deletes last, once no other coaches work at the gym.
Messages, plans and write-ups a coach sent a client stay in that client’s history, without the coach’s account attached.
If you signed your gym’s waiver, the gym keeps the signed waiver (your typed name, the date and the words you signed) as a legal record. Nothing else of yours is attached to it. More in the privacy policy.
Cannot get into the app? Email support@coachtor.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”, and we will do it for you.
